Creating a group on Telegram is simple and only takes a few minutes. Whether you want to chat with friends, family, or organize a group for work, Telegram lets you do it all in just a few steps. Follow these easy instructions to get started!
Step 1: Open the Telegram App
First, open the Telegram app on your phone. Once you’re in the app, look for three lines in the top left corner of the screen. Tap on those lines.
Step 2: Start a New Group
After you tap the lines, a menu will pop up. The second option in this menu says “New Group.” Tap on that. You’ll now see your contact list, where you can select the people you want to add to your group. Once you’ve chosen your group members, tap the arrow icon at the bottom of the screen.
Step 3: Name Your Group
Now it’s time to name your group. Type in the name you want for your group. You’ll also see a small camera icon next to the group name. If you want to, you can tap on this to add a picture for your group by choosing a photo from your gallery. If you don’t want to add a picture, you can skip this part.
Step 4: Choose Auto-Delete (Optional)
Telegram has an option to automatically delete messages after a certain time. You can set the messages to disappear after one day, a week, or even a month. If you don’t want your messages to auto-delete, you can leave this option off.
Step 5: Finish Creating the Group
Once you’ve named the group (and added a picture if you wanted), tap the small tick icon in the bottom right corner. This will finish the setup and create your group. Congratulations, your Telegram group is ready!
Step 6: Share Your Feedback
